This hat is the perfect accessory for everyone who likes to approach life (as well as knitting) with a sense of humour. Thanks to its folded statement brim, the That’s Knit Hat keeps your ears warm and cozy. Its crown is designed to sit a bit looser, but the fit is customizable. Although it is “just” a hat, it incorporates several interesting knitting techniques that make it a fun, varied knit and give it a neat finish.
You will start with a provisional cast-on and work the folded brim in a colourwork pattern in the round. The special "knit by numbers" chart spares you the effort of counting stitches! Then you graft the live stitches to the wrong side to create a clean edge. After that, the provisional cast-on allows you to knit in the opposite direction and you will work the main section of the hat in stockinette in the round. Once you have reached your preferred hat height, you will shape the crown using decreases.
